UMC Utrecht has two exciting opportunities available:

• PhD Opportunity: Immerse yourself in complex genetics and contribute to groundbreaking cardiovascular disease research, focusing on tools to enhance diagnostics, prediction, and personalised medicine.
• Postdoc Position: Already hold a PhD in statistical genetics or a related field? Join us as a Postdoctoral Researcher focusing on GWAS, PRS, and pharmacogenetics, playing a key role in advancing research in our NextGen project.

Both positions are based in the vibrant city of Utrecht, Netherlands. Successful candidates will be fully integrated into the dynamic NextGen research team, working towards identifying genes and biological pathways involved in cardiovascular diseases using deep-phenotyped datasets, UK Biobank, All of Us, and more.
